Kylee Merrill

 

Kylee started taking gymnastics and dance when she was 3 years old at Elko Gymnastics and Elko Stars. She competed with them until she was 9 years old, her family then made a move to Vernal, utah. Kylee then made a switch from gymnastics to power tumbling at AJ Gymnastics and danced for Cathy Hall Dance Company. She started to assist in teaching tumbling when she was 12 years old. She team taught with her coach for 4 years and taught several classes on her own. She placed from level 6 to level 9 in the power tumbling competitions she participated in and also took 1st in the region competition on floor. Kylee started cheerleading when she was a sophomore in high school and enjoyed the new dimension that brought to her tumbling.

Kyle graduated from Uintah High School in 2007 and moved to Provo, Utah where she began work at Airtime Gymnastics as a coach. Kylee began coaching at TDC athletics in 2012.  Since that time she has coached hundreds of children in the Elko/Spring Creek area.  Kylee has a unique coaching style that incorporates her no-nonsense attitude with her fun and carefree personality.  It is through this unique coaching style that she is able to meet students where they are at and build their tumbling skills, technique, and confidence! She absolutely loves coaching tumbling and and plans on doing it for many years to come. Kylee has been married for 8 years and is the mother of three beautiful children.  She is usag Certified and CPR certified.
